(5 stars)I am a huge fan of the Civil Wars and while it was different to hear them sing with more than just a guitar, it was just as different to hear their songs without any words….and different is always good in my book. I am a sucker for their melancholy, quiet music so I bought a handful of the more solemn tracks in the following order: Focus, Getting Worse, Finding North, Barbie at the Bodega and Witnesses to Hunger.
